Cheese is one my favourites. I love to have it on its own. Today's dinner menu is Paneer bhurji with home made Paneer or as we odia say it Chenna.
Paneer Bhurji is the vegetarian version of Anda Bhurji or Scrambled Eggs.
Here is how to prepare Chenna or paneer at home.
Take 1 litre milk on pan and bring it to a boil.
Leave it for some time and then strain the chenna and rinse it with cold water to get rid of the smell of vinegar or lemon.
1 medium size onion - chopped
2 Green chillies - chopped
1 Tomato - chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2 Tbsp coriander leaves - chopped
Chenna or grated paneer
1 Tbsp MDH kitchen King Masala powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 Tbsp Olive oil
Salt to taste
Take oil in a wok add cumin seeds to it . When it starts spluttering add onion and greenchillies and fry till the onion is golden brown . Then add turmeric, tomatoes and kitchen king masala (u can add any other masala powder of ur choice) and cook till tomatoes are cooked. Add Chenna and salt to this and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in the coriander leaves at end and Serve it with Rice or Roti.
